Note: This stamp which to be issued on above date to coincide with the opening of the Faisal Mosque in Islamabad by His Imperial Majesty King Shah Khalid of Saudi Arabia. It was withdrawn from sale on last minute instruction, in fact the opening ceremony was shifted to October 12, 1976. Few sub post offices (Rawalpindi and Sheikhupura) did not receive the withdrawal notice in time, so few sheets were sold over the counters in error.
